In that desperate moment, her owner surrendered her to us, unable to provide the life-saving surgery she so urgently needed. Our veterinary team rushed her into an emergency C-section, fighting for her life and the lives of her unborn puppies. Heartbreakingly, the puppy trapped in the birth canal could not be saved. But against all odds, the other four puppies survived—and so did Princess.
Today, Princess and her babies are thriving. The picture of Princess with one of her sweet pups is a living reminder of resilience, love, and second chances. They still have a little way to go before they’re cleared medically and ready for adoption, but we cannot wait for the day when this brave mama and her babies find the forever homes they so deeply deserve.
