Jarissah
Jarissah

Hi there, Thank you for reaching out. We are beyond happy and excited to have Shea (Jarissah) as part of our family. She has made herself at home in our home. She is so loving, smart and has a great personality! She is catching on well to the potty training and loves playing. She is a little bitter at this stage so we try to keep her occupied with toys and bones. Shea has made our 5 year old son so happy. Their interaction and how they play is beyond cute! We are so grateful to have found her and to have her as part of our family. Photos of her are attached. I don't know if this normally happens, but I would love for her to get to see her brothers and sisters again at some point. If the rescue could organize that at some time in the future we would love to see her interact with her siblings and to also get to see what they look like... Thank you again for reaching out! Keep up the good work. With regards, Jennifer Thomp

Jewels
Jewels

Hello Kathy! We are happy to report that Jewels is doing very well! We are working with a trainer and Jewels is now able to walk on a leash, knows “ sit, stay, toilet and come”mostly in American Sign Language. We are currently teaching her to climb stairs and we are working on a treadmill to coordinate her front and back legs and we are teaching her to climb the stairs. We will start swimming when the pool warms up a bit to help with her coordination. She’s a sweet, exhuberant pup and she’s learning to fit into the “blondetourage ”. (All our pets have white fur!). I will forward a picture and or video. Thanks Laura Walsh

Jessie
Jessie

Thank you so much for the follow up email! Joe and I could not be more in love with Jessie :) Please take a look at the attached pictures, which are from our "quiet" moments at home-- when we are out and about, Jessie keeps us too busy to take many pictures! So far, Jessie knows the commands "sit", "home", "stay", and "potty". We're still working on "come", but I am pretty sure she is a genius! She's about 75% potty trained...we still have an accident most days, but we know she's still a puppy and don't expect her to be perfect. Jessie sleeps in the bed with us at night- she is *not* a fan of her crate, but we are continuing to crate train for short periods of time during the day. She makes us smile almost constantly- between her butt wags when we walk into a room, and her puppy zoomies. She also makes everyone we run into smile. So far we have taken her to the Lake Worth Famers Market, where she was super social. She even played gently with a few toddlers, which was phenomenal! We also have taken her into Downtown Lake Worth, where everyone we met on the street fell in love with her. Jessie loves playing outside, playing fetch, chasing her tail. snuggling with Joe and I, and playing with the other cats and dogs in our neighborhood. Once she is 4 months old, we play to enroll her in agility classes. We're also looking forward to taking her to the dog park, once she has all her shots, which is Friday! We cannot thank the Justin Bartlett organization enough for giving us the chance to adopt, and for bringing Jessie into our lives. We will continue to keep you updated and stay in touch as she gets older. All the best, Joanna and Joe

Joey
Joey

Hello kathy, Sorry I took so long to reply. I think we're all finally adapting to Joey and Joey to us. He's finally letting us know when he needs to go out. That was an issue in the beginning. He also had a nervous pee, so we had to read about ways to control that. And he's doing better. He is very sweet and happy little guy. He is still a little squirmish" during his walks but with time he will get used to all of the environment and noises.

Jipsy
Jipsy

Hello!! Jipsy is now Gigi! She’s in the best home possible for her spunky attitude. She cuddles with our golden retriever and they run like horses in the backyard! When we got her we were told she’s a Labrador retriever maybe mixed with collie or golden! And if that’s so, then it shows in her coat! A few weeks after we got her she became this little Shirley temple with her curls. So we’re thinking she’s more of the Collie or Golden than the Lab, like the rescue volunteers thought! We are planning on moving soon to a four acre farm in New Jersey, where Gigi and our six other animals can have the space that all animals deserve!
