Hey Kathy: Wow, we can't even tell you how much fun we've had with our two little boys already. We have 5 acres for them to enjoy and they are doing their best to explore every square inch of it. We renamed them to honor their German Shepherd heritage. Vixen, who looks like his German Shepherd mom, has been renamed (Shontzelicht) or Shontzie for short. Victor, who looks like his Golden Retriever daddy, has been renamed (Sigfried) or Siggy for short. We adopted them when they were 8 weeks and about 7 lbs each. Today they are 12 weeks old and are almost reaching 20 lbs each. We used to be able to pick them up very easily and carry them around like little babies..... that is not so easy any more with all the weight they are putting on....lol It is amazing to see the differences in their characters. Siggy is absolutely the leader and is already performing aggressive 'guard dog' duties, while Shontzie is definitely mama's boy and runs to her safety whenever he thinks he needs protection. One of their favorite things to do when "doggie daddy" comes home from work is to go for a swim because they know that after the swim they get to have a nice warm relaxing shower and then all "three" boys get to cuddle on the sofa in a nice clean towel and have a snooze while mom gets dinner ready.
