Blondie
Hello! Great news! Blondie is now Stevie and she is doing so great! When she came to me she was so scared and withdrawn and now she has come out of her shell and has become such a playful, happy, grateful girl! She came to me with quite a bevy of health problems. I was only informed that she was blind in one eye. Upon her health exam, we found that she had an ear infection, needed her teeth cleaned BADLY as they were rotting out of her head from the tartar buildup due to the soft food she was given at the puppy mill, and after further investigation, she is mostly blind in the other eye as well. shes nice and clean now and has had her first round of revolution. Shes been scheduled for her cleaning but I wanted to wait a while as she had just been under for her spay. Stevie has just been the light of my life and seeing her grow from such a fragile state to such a happy, happy girl and be the lover that she is has just been so gratifying. This is why I love dogs so much. I always say she is just like a live teddy bear. She has picked herself out a few favorite toys (she wouldnt go near toys at first) and has some friends in our building that she just loves to death! I'm very excited to look into the cataract surgery for her maybe next spring and see if shes a candidate. She's such an amazing dog and she's given me such a gift that I'd love to give her that gift! I've attached some pictures. Thank you so much for allowing us to be together!
