Odele
dell is doing great. We kept the name but changed the spelling because it matches
our favorite football player Odell Beckham Jr. She is a very sweet dog and has
adjusted well. She is super quiet except when the door bell rings and the chihuahua
in her comes out and she doesn't stop barking. The only other issue is that she
hardly pees when we walk her, lucky if she does it once or twice a day. We
discovered that she is a Chiweenie, never knew there was such a thing until someone
told us a chihuahua daschund mix. Here are a few pictures.
Thanks,
Marty Korn
Bentley
Hi Justin Bartlett Friends,
Bentley is doing great. I do believe he is a dog in a catâs body. He follows us
around like a dog, goes on walks with us like a dog, meows like a dog â LOL. He
even says MEâOUT & MEâIN instead of MEOW. Loves the backyard and hiding in all
the flowers and then when I call him, he comes running in like a dog. It is just
too funny. Heâs a snuggler too.
Iâve enclosed some pictures (and will send a few more separately as the email
isn't going through with all of them). His favorite thing to do is climb into the
cat food bag and eat.
We needed another cat like a hole in the head but that is how most of us animal
rescuers are ï. We are a happy Foster Fail Family!
With love,
Thea

She is doing fantastic we adore her and she is part of the
Gotti
Hi Kathy,
We have named Gotti, Marlin Maddren.
Sorry it has taken me a while to get back to you but we went on vacation for a week
with Marlin and it's been busy here. We went to the FL Keys on vacation so we were
able to bring Marlin almost everywhere with us for a week. It was a great bonding
time for the 3 of us.
Marlin is so sweet and adorable. From day one he cuddles in the bed with us. He
is a great cuddlier.
The first 2 1/2 weeks were a bit challenging with the house breaking (potting
training). But he is doing great now. We have a dog sitter come to the house at
lunch time during the week. She takes him out to play and feeds him lunch. He
really enjoys playing Frisbee and running around in his fenced back yard.
Marlin weights 45 lbs. now and is 5 months old. He has lost 3 baby teeth, that we
know of, in the past 2 weeks so teething is full on now but luckily he is great
about chewing on bones and not furniture. Yay!
Marlin has learned to walk on a leash, sit, lay down and loves to go on car and boat
rides. We have also been able to have him go paddle boarding with us serval times.
He is getting used to the water pretty good now.
I will email several photos separately (file size issue) we have also created Marlin
Maddren a Facebook page (Peter, foster dad, and Cindy Hobbs are fiends on his page).
We have switched to our vet because they are so close to us and a personal friend of
ours (Dr. Paul Wolf). We live about an hour north of your Vet's office so it's hard
to get down that way.
We would like to thank Peter (foster dad), Cindy, Justin Bartlett and the rest of
the Justin Bartlett Animal Rescue team for all of your hard work and kindness.
We are so in love with Marlin. He is really a joy to have in our lives and we are
so lucky!
Anne and Mitch Maddren
