Plantain
Hi!,
Plantain, now known as Luna, is doing great. She has been an amazing
puppy. She is comfortable in her crate when we are away and she knows to
stand next to the door when she needs to go outside to relieve herself. I'm
still in the process of getting her comfortable on a leash. Her new best
friend is Frank the Tank. Most mornings I wake up to those two rough
housing in the family room. Although Frank is in excess of 90lbs, he is
incredibly gentle with his sister. Luna has made a great addition to our
Pack. Woof!
All the best,
The Milledges
Persimmon
Just a little note: So far Persimmons/Raven is amazing. Fitting right in. She doesn't mind our cat. Our Yorkie and her play well. She also met her new cousin Titan (120 lb. mix breed ) they get along great. She loves sleeping on our leather couch. Tonight I'm putting her in our daughters bed with her. We gave her a bath. I think she has had many because she just sat there calm as can be. Went outside on her own! No accidents!!! Whoever fostered her did a wonderful job. I hope she continues to transition well and excepts us as her forever family. We all adore her.
Please forward this note to all foster parents and volunteers that everything they are doing is making progress and a major difference to the lives of each dog and the families who adopt them. You might not be able to save them all, but your making a difference one dog at a time.
Thanks again

Pixy
Palmer "formerly Pixy" is adjusting well to her new forever home. We are so
thankful to her foster parents for starting her on the right path. She just
had her first puppy training class and she can't wait for her next one, she
is hoping to get most improved! Palmer loved meeting all of her new
fur-cousins and loves going on play dates with them. She loves to run
around, jump, chew, explore new places and go on long walks. She went to
the beach for the first time and loved it, except the water.. that was
scary. She has already gained 3 lbs! She is working on snuggling on the
weekends and learning her name through fun games of hide and seek. We fell
in the love the moment we saw Palmer, we are excited to continue our
adventures together. Attached please find a picture from a recent trip to
a doggie event in Abacoa, where Palmer completed her first agility course
and was told she was one of the best dogs of the day (also one of the
cutest). We couldn't be prouder.
Pedro
Thank you for following up with us on to see how our little best friend is faring in
his new home. "Toby" has taken on a new identity and is now known as "Pedro". Pedro
has quite a unique and colorful personality and has already found his niche in the
family unit. Pedro is currently being toilet trained and is doing quite well!
Hopefully by month end he will be litter free! Pedro is a true romantic and just
loves to snuggle, generally on your head, neck or face. Pedro also has one very
unique feature in that he "sucks" his thumb (actually it's his knuckle) while he is
purring away and kneading the closest softest available object. Pedro loves to give
kisses and knows the word so be careful when you ask for "besos" as you will end up
with a mouthful of kitty snout. Pedro is one of a kind and we are so very thankful
that he found and rescued us! :)
Parker
Hello,
Thanks for checking in and sorry for the delayed response. Parker is doing amazing.
He is getting bigger by the minute! Parker has joined ur little family and fits in
perfectly, we couldnât be happier. Parker has such a vibrant personality, always
full of energy. He is extremely smart and has done a great job with potty training
and overall behavior. Some of his favorite activities would probably have to be
playing fetch by the lake (even though he isnât to fond of the water just yet) or
going for bike rides. Again parker has been an amazing addition to our little family
and we canât thank justin bartlett and Michelle (Parkers foster mom) enough for him!
