Olivia the Cavi mix
Olivia the Cavi mix

Ms. Olivia has adjusted very well. She made herself right at home starting day one. She's our little snuggle bug and also our sentinel (she can hear a light switch being turned on 3 rooms over and will give a little bark).

Oleander
Oleander

Oleander, now Nina, is such a great addition to our family. Her and Gabby, E pup Envy, are getting along great and play all the time. Nina looks up to Gabby and copy's everything she does. She loves our weekly outings to Starbucks where she gets a pup-a-chino (whip cream). Thanks so much for everything you do. - Carly and Omar

Ora
Ora

Hello - My family and I hit the jackpot when we found "Ora" (now Roxy) on the Justin Barlett Animal Rescue website. This adorable female Golden/Yellow Lab mix is such a blessing and has far exceeded all expectations of what a great puppy could be. This sweet and wonderful child makes us all laugh and smile constantly. She has acclimated perfectly with our other two dogs and is learning from them every day. She is also in puppy school and is such a fast learner it is mind boggling. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping to bring this fabulous little creature into our lives. We shall treasure her always! Please see the attached pics of our little darling....she is growing so fast! Sincerely, Lisa Wittmann

Olaf
Olaf

Hey guys, We changed his name to Luke. Our other dog is named Beau, so that makes them Beau and Luke Duke from the TV show Dukes of Hazzard.hahaha. But anyway we got home with him and he was coughing and sneezing, they said he had kennel cough, now he is fine. Also the vet said he was at the beginning of cateracts, and can't hear good, but we have grown attached to him, he eats good taking him on walks and he is a very happy dog. Oh also your vet said he was around 7 years old instead of 2. Other than that him and get along great.

Oreo

Hi Kathy, Sorry I have not been able to get around giving you a report on Corey (AKA Oreo). He is such a lively part to our family. He is our clown, herder, guard and iMr. Lovable. It's taken some time to get him to totally trust us but with lots of love he has acclimated well.Every evening he goes around doing a house check to make sure we are all here and when he is satisfied he goes under our bed. In the morning he goes to every room to once again take inventory and greet us. Our Florida room has become his afternoon resting place. I especially love coming home to him because he goes through his little dance routine until we all greet him. This Christmas after setting up the tree, he thought it was a great idea to sleep under it. Well, what else is a tree for in the eye of a dog?! We certainly are glad that he never messes the house and is well trained! I would say that we are always working with him and see progress constantly. Although Corey still has stranger anxiety, the more we have him around loving and trusting people the less fear he has. I am so happy for people like you that help these little creatures. My husband and I often wonder what Corey must have gone through to be so scared of strangers. The most difficult part of this journey has been finding reputable groomers that really understand and love rescue dogs. After 4 tries including the vet sedating him so that Corey could be groomed, we found one that right from the introduction made Corey comfortable. The was such a blessing and a relief for us! Thanks to you and all those who are doing such a great job and taking care of these forgotten animals,
