Hi my name is TED.

When I was found abandoned on the streets of Miami,
I was very hungry & suffering from mange. I’m completely healthy now
though. I’ve put all my weight back on and my hair has grown back
nicely. My coat is low maintenance and I barely shed if you brush me
daily.

I enjoy eating my dog food but don’t leave your food unattended
where I can reach it or I will sneak in a few bites. I am house
trained and crate trained. I’m very cautious when I first meet you
because of my past experiences. I will bark a little but will warm up
to you if you pet me and show me you are my friend. My favorite toys
are tennis balls and stuffed animals. I love my toys & sometimes I
will share them with you if I trust you. I have lots of energy and
love to run, fetch, play, and chase you around. I’m a bit weary of
cats & big dogs and will run after them if I am not on my leash. I’m
very smart and learn commands easily but sometimes I can be a little
stubborn. I’m mellow in the home but always ready for anything. I
love to rest next to you on the couch and enjoy it if you rub my
chest. Sometimes I like to be on my own too and will cuddle with my
stuffed animals while I sleep.

I would like to be in a home where I
am the only dog so I can have all the attention for myself, or I's like to live with a small dog. I would
be best suited with a patient family who has time to give me lots of
love, affection, & positive reinforcement.
