Kissy

It's been such a fun and exciting month since I adopted sweet baby Ren (adopted 1/25/14. She is growing, playing and eating like a champ. She's had all her shots, is weighing in at just over 5 lbs, and has settled in quite nicely here at home! She loves running around and playing with her big, 85 lb "brother from another mother" and has even found her sea legs, enjoying cruises on the intercoastal waterways and playtime at the sandbar! Everyone who meets her falls in love almost instantly. We love having her in our lives :)

Kooky

Kooky now "Tinkerbell" is doing wonderful! She just returned from her first family vacation with us and had a blast. She has brought so much joy to our family and we are very thankful to you all for completing our family!!! As you can see she loves to cuddle on the couch with Mommy and hog the covers!!

Kojack

Hi Kathy, Kojack is just a super dog. We absolutely love him. His new name is Murphy, and he recognizes it already. He is already spoiled. Unfortunately, we discovered on his first visit to Pet Calls that he has a serious hip problem. There is actually no hip socket. The doctors there are wonderful. They did an x-ray to confirm the problem. He doesn’t seem to be terribly bothered with it now, but as he grows older there will be problems. We will face that when the time comes. He doesn’t like dry food, and turns up his nose at canned food, so, I have been giving him chicken most of the time. Like I said, he is spoiled. He is on heavy duty supplements to help the hip, and will be for life. He loves to go walking. There are a lot of dogs in our neighborhood, so when we are walking we have to stop and smell lots of things, and pee on almost every blade of grass. I guess it’s guy thing. One of our neighbors has a lady rescue dog that Murphy is especially fond of. We are so happy that we found him, and he found us. I will send pictures. Linda O’Connor

Kaya

Kaya is doing perfectly well, the first couple of days after the adoption she was really quiet and shy, but now she is a rambunctious puppy. She is all good except for a minor ear infection which we are treating, she also finished all her shots and is doing really well.
