Kenny initally came to our rescue from Broward Animal Care & Control. He was likely abused and needed to learn to trust humans again. He spent 3 months in foster care and made amazing strides. He was adopted to an experienced owner who recently returned him to the rescue due to a family illness. They were very upset to give him up and emphasized that it had nothing to do with Kenny, and that his behavior had been wonderful.

This poor, confused boy is now looking for his next and last family. He has come a long way with his trust of humans but in order to preserve his progress, he needs and experienced adopter who knows how to work with a fearful dog.  He gets along with other dogs and cats but is not recommended for children.
